Hi Belles and Beaus!

So as you may know, I’m now the Creative Arts and Garden Consultant at a PreK Program in Philadelphia through my organization, Brown Girls Garden. I’m building the “Lil Sprouts” Art & Garden Program, and in fact we just started our first round of seeding this week for our greenhouses! 🪴

Since I’m building this organization from the ground up, I can use all the help I can get! I’ve created an Amazon Wishlist specifically for the “Lil Sprouts” Program but if you’re local to Philadelphia maybe you’d like a little garden of your own for your porch, patio or backyard in exchange for helping bring garden time to the kiddos:

Introducing: “Go & Grow” Garden Bags from Brown Girls Garden @ Philly Wild Garden!

Each bag will be conveniently prefilled with soil, and individually packed with vegetable seedlings grown with love by ME and our garden team at Philly Wild Garden! Your vegetables will then be planted into the bags with appropriate companion plants to maximize growth and flavor. The bags will be ready for you to pick up and place in your yard or on your patio in late April/early May 2026. Just go home, water it and watch your produce grow. Doesn’t get much easier!

Fees collected from “Go & Grow” Garden sales will be used to fund Brown Girls Garden initiatives, particularly the “Lil Sprouts” Program at Johnson Childcare Center in Philadelphia.

These bags are perfect for beginners, people short on grow space or my favorite: People who just want to get their feet wet growing “a little something” that they’ll actually eat! Relatable, right?

So, I thoughtfully put together six different “garden faves” combinations for $25 per bag or any 3 bags for $65. Companions plants include other veggies, herbs and even flowers. Nothing too finicky or exotic, and nothing that will take over with vines! 🌸

No substitutions! The bags are set as-is but I am available for personal garden consults if you’re in the Philly area! 💎

If you live outside of the Philly area, you can help by donating a bag to a senior in our community or donate straight off the wishlist! (The heaters for the greenhouse are the top priority right now)
