One of my guiding principles for the past few years to reframe my existence is “Just Start” because, like many women, I was often plagued with anxiety about things I want to do and in the past I would convince myself of all the ways I wasn’t ready (even if I was), or why I needed more time, or why it wasn’t really my “thing” — Listen. I’d make all kinds of excuses or if all else failed, good old imposter syndrome would whisper “You not even all that, why would anybody listen/care/buy…” you get it. But, then I started noticing how much of our collective blocks are not actually real and we just allow our minds to manifest mountains out of imaginary molehills. We then point to those imaginary molehills made into mountains as the reason why we can’t do whatever it is we want to do. We end up stagnant or caught up in cycles that feel never ending…
You know what though?
We off that bullshit.
Seriously.
